All right. You love your New Thought Community and whenever you go there you get a boost. They are teaching you the powerful tool of co-creation. You have learned that “the Divine is us, as us.” In other words you are a Divine Reflection and all the beautiful souls around you are reflections of the Divine as well.
As we personally evolve letting go of past patterns and hidden belief systems, we notice an ever more abundant flow of Divine Energy in our lives and this will often prompt us to reach out with love to co-create with other Divine Reflections for highest good. In short, positive personal evolution leads compassionate souls to effect positive social evolution.
Are you taking pictures? Snapping pix of those wonderful activities and shared projects?
Over 100 years ago, pioneers in New Thought understood this same feeling. They understood this timeless truth that deep personal spiritual evolution prompts a dance of soulful celebration.
“O we can wait no longer,
We too take ship, O soul;
Joyous, we too launch out on trackless seas,
Fearless, for unknown shores, on waves of ecstasy to sail,
Amid the wafting winds,
Chanting our chant of pleasant exploration.
O my brave soul,
O, farther, farther sail,
O daring joy, but safe, are they not, all the seas of God?
O, farther. farther sail.”
NEW THOUGHT is not, as many believe, a name or expression employed to define any fixed system of thought, philosophy, or religion, but is a term used to convey the idea of growing or developing thought. In considering this subject, the word “New” should be duly and freely emphasized, because the expression “New Thought” relates only to what is new and progressive.
Share your joy! Take pictures and be sure and share them with your New Thought leaders, practitioners, and US. If we have pictures of loving events at your center, we can help bring more people to your community.
While you are enjoying muffins, cookies with coffee and tea, snap a few pix and share them. Good cookies often provoke smiles 🙂 Catch those smiles with your phone, not just one, or two, but a dozen or more.
And share them! Let people know about your beautiful community.
Smiles prompt smiles
Have you ever noticed that smiling is contagious?
It is. And cognitive psychologists have studied the positive and wonderful effects which smiles have on people physically and mentally. Smiles heal!
Whether your New Thought Community has an average age over 40 or 50 doesn’t matter!
Whether your New Thought community is small or large, snap some pix and share!
Of course you can always see if some of the men and women at your center will go for a photo shoot, but events are happening every week.
You have a phone. Use it to take pix. Lots of them. This way you can pick the best and toss the rest.
When the weather is nice, jump on your bike, get around and visit those folks you love from your New Thought Community and snap some pix. Springtime gardening, summertime Barbecue, Autumn leaf raking. They all offer an opportunity for great pix.
Pictures can relay the love, joy and power within the progressive teachings of New Thought.
Co-create and show your creations!
“Thou Great Eternal Infinite; Thou Great Unbounded Whole;
Thy Body is the Universe, Thy Spirit is the Soul;
If Thou dost fill Immensity–If thou art All in All
Then I’m in Thee and Thou in me, or I’m not here at all.”
INTELLIGENCE is universal in Nature. This might seem to be a bold statement, were it not supported by observation, by reason, and by the authority of the leading scientists of the world. Every object in Nature has its counterpart in the unseen. External Nature is but the expression of the invisible. We wonder at the beauty and majesty of the visible and forget that back of it all is the unseen, far more beautiful and transcendent.
You are not alone. Within New Thought Communities people reach out to one another and co-create!
Traditional New Thought taught that New Thought is informed by Universal Spiritual Principles. New Thought Today is not 20th Century New Thought. New Thought 3.1 teaches personal evolution and shared social responsibility.
When Grandpa tells you that “God is Money …” or talks about how the environment can sustain unlimited abuse and rails about “we need more oil wells, and fracking is great,” just give him a hug, tell him you love him and take a picture for posterity. But try to get him to smile first.
Then get on to the next great event where people are co-creating a more compassionate world and know that solar and wind energy are the sustainable answers.
